The 40th anniversary of the Lancia Gamma and the desire to pay tribute to its designers were the driving forces behind the Lancia Gamma Consortium’s debut appearance at the NEC show.

Although the two versions of the Gamma – the Berlina (saloon) and Coupé – are mechanically identical, they had different Pininfarina stylists. Gamma Consortium chairman Charles Shelton adds: ’ They were built separately, too: the Berlina by Lancia and the Coupé by Pininfarina. We’re very glad we had the oppportunity for so many people to see these great and unusual cars.’
