WHICH CLASSIC CAR WOULD YOU LIKE REMADE?
DAVID SIMISTER EDITOR SINCLAIR C5
I already own most of my favourite classics with the MGB, Mazda and Range Rover. The one missing from my fleet is the Sinclair C5, the ultimate ‘80s electric machine. I’d commute to CCW everyday in that!
JAMES SADLIER MANAGING EDITOR CORTINA 80
It’s not an obvious choice but the Cortina 80 (MkV) was always my favourite variant. Ford had perfected the car by then and it seemed far superior than the Sierra replacement in the early days.
GERVAIS SEYMOUR PRODUCTION EDITOR WOOD LEAF
I’d like to see a new Lea-Francis woody estate. Obviously it would need a nice clean hybrid engine.
DAVID BROWN ASSOCIATE EDITOR MINI MOKE
I’ve room on my drive for a Mini Moke. There are a few at the Silverstone Classic each year but I’d be tempted by a re-creation.
MURRAY SCULLION NEWS EDITOR LANCIA
Lancia looks like it’s on its last legs. Maybe it could start rebuilding the absolutely stunning Fulvia again. I’d buy one of those.
CALUM BROWN WEB PRODUCER MERC SL
If someone could restore Freddie Mercury’s Mercedes-Benz 420SL that would be just fine. Under pressure, the show must go on!
NICK LARKIN EDITOR AT LARGE E-TYPES
How about a nice batch of early flat-floor E-types, preferably at the original asking price? One would look rather nice parked outside my humble abode.
