Isle of Wight warning!
The organiser of the Isle of Wight’s Charity Classic Car Extravaganza is urging car owners to register to display now – as early indicators suggest it will be the biggest ever attended classic car event in the island’s history.
Now in its 16th year, the free event is taking place on 16-17 September. Founder Victor Galluci says: ‘It’s looking like it will be the busiest event ever. We’re expecting at least 700 vehicles, so get booking now to avoid disappointment. There’s already an amazing selection of rare vehicles.’
On the Saturday, the show will be held in the Newport Quay, with donations going to the Isle of Wight Round Table to support local children. On the Sunday, it will be held on Ryde Esplanade, with funds for the Earl Mountbatten Hospice in Newport. Victor Galluci: 020 8439 7871 ❚
