Auctions – a US V8 classic saloon that won’t break the bank
Space, pace and economy – not to mention a healthy dose of rarity – abound at Morris Leslie’s February sale
Morris Leslie’s auctions north of the border have proven to be lively and the Perth-based business will be looking to build on its 2016’s successes over the next few months. Its next sale is on 18 February, offers an interesting mix of rare classics.
Buyers will doubtless be pleasantly surprised to see a De Tomaso Longchamp, a Volksrod beach buggy and a Zastava Yugo 45 in the same sale. Any buyers who need plenty of load space might fancy a bid on a 1985 Citroën CX estate in entrylevel 2.0 Reflex specification. There’s also bargain-basement luxury in the shape of two new-generation Jaguar S-Types and for an off-beat mixture of stateside luxury and diesel economy, look no further than the square-rigged 1981 Oldsmobile Delta 88.
For those who think that the venue is too far away, a Morris Leslie spokesman says: ‘ With flights from Stansted now available from £34 return, our venue is perfectly accessible to customers.’
