1985 CITROËN CX REFLEX 2.0
‘Cavernous’ is perhaps the best word to describe the CX estate, and as an automotive equivalent of the Cardington airship sheds it is hard to beat. And all that space comes with the reassurance of Citroën’s hydropneumatic suspension, which was equipped to handle heavy loads – although progress with the two-litre fourcylinder engine won’t be rapid. The auctioneer says this Series 1 car is one of two survivors, and had the same recorded keeper for 15 years. An estimate had not been set as CCW went to press.
