Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling - RICHARD GUNN, CONTRIBUTOR

Fiat has always excelled in making compact city cars, and the 126’s ability to dart merrily around town puts it up there with the Mini, with an added dose of rear-engined charisma and fun. The 126 offers limited practicality in terms of size and performance but when it comes to cheap classics that raise a smile, this tiny Fiat is right up there. They’re easy to maintain and well supported by clubs and specialists, so you can buy any part you want. The 126 is also easy to upgrade and there’s a great owners’ club, which is why it might just be an ideal classic, certainly around town.
