‘Many want entry-level XJ40s to be original’

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Living With Classics -

‘Many XJ40 owners – especially those with basic models – used to modify their cars with posher interior trim and electrically adjustable seats. But entry-level XJ40s are now quite rare and sought-after, so owners are increasingly keen to preserve their originality. Swapping metric wheels for imperials is still popular but most XJ40 fans tend to track down the car they really want, instead of embarking on significant upgrades to turn a low-spec car into a high-spec one.’ www.jec.org.uk
