Immensely popular throughout its 42-year life, France’s mould-breaking car for the masses makes just as much sense today as it did back in 1948. The dreaded tinworm has done for tens of thousands of examples over the years, meaning values have increased steadily.

This mid-1970s example is said to have been extensively restored and remains in excellent condition, meaning it must be worth a look. And if the estimate is a bit too fruity for some buyers, there’s a 1984 Charleston estimated at £20003000 in the same sale.
