1968 CHEVROLET CAMARO
When it comes to competition cars, history is all, and this 1968 Chevrolet Camaro reversed the ‘Great British Invasion’ earlier in the decade, when bands from Blighty took the USA by storm. The success of American cars on British circuits, began in 1963 with Ford Galaxies in the hands of Jack Sears and Sir Gawaine Bailey. General Motors arrived at the same time, and while the Galaxies were pensioned off, salvation was found in cars like this Camaro which was prepared for the 1970 season, and driven by Roy Pierpoint. It’s ready for more action.
