Pirelli has reintroduced its classic V-rated Cinturato CN36 low profile tyre. Pirelli was one of the first on the market with low profile tyres and its Cinturato, launched in 1969, was original equipment on period Lancias, MGs, Morgans, Ferraris and Lamborghinis, among many others. What makes the 185/70VR14 CN36 so special is that it is a low profile alternative for MGBs and various Alfa Romeos (Spider, Giulia, Alfetta, etc.) that were originally fitted with 165R14s – the new tyre provides a bigger footprint for better grip, but still looks period-correct. www.longstonetyres.co.uk
