oldest p5 auto on market

-

The oldest known Rover P5 automatic still on the road has been put up for sale by a classic dealer based in Hampshire.

The 1959 car – which is the 20th example built and has just 61,339 miles on the clock – had been displayed for many years at Stondon Motor Museum in Henlow before being sold at auction and then recommissioned by the new owner. The 3.0-litre car is now being advertised by Bradley James Classics at £6995.

Manager Danny O’Keefe says: ‘This is a very special car that would benefit from some minor work but is massively enjoyable as it is.’ nick larkin www.bradleyjamesclassics.co.uk
