The old­est known Rover P5 au­to­matic still on the road has been put up for sale by a clas­sic dealer based in Hamp­shire.

The 1959 car – which is the 20th ex­am­ple built and has just 61,339 miles on the clock – had been dis­played for many years at Ston­don Mo­tor Mu­seum in Hen­low be­fore be­ing sold at auc­tion and then recom­mis­sioned by the new owner. The 3.0-litre car is now be­ing ad­ver­tised by Bradley James Clas­sics at £6995.
