‘Very few TR7s are now standard’

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Living With Classics -

‘Very few TR7s are now standard; most have had at least some minor modifications such as better air filters, exhaust and a conversion to electronic ignition (the factory-fit AC Delco points are a nightmare to maintain due to access). Quite a few Sprint-engined TR7s have been built in recent years but V8 conversions are still popular. You can build one of these from just £3000 so for some cheap track day fun, or as a fast road car, a TR7 V8 represents incredible value.’
