Comfort and a touch of sporty speed suggest this is an auction to watch
An Isuzu 117 Coupé and an Alvis TA14 utility are the star offerings at DVCA’s first sale of the year. For would-be Capri owners it might be time for a re-think, as the 117 is a technically superior car that also offers unprecedented rarity.
The big-space, bespoke Alvis estate model is definitely unusual and comes from a time of the last genuinely upmarket British estate cars, competing with similar models from Lea-Francis and Allard.
Also sure to fire-up interest is a one-owner from new 1971 MGB Roadster, a 1995 Mitsubishi GTO and, for those who favour something more traditional, a 1932 Morgan Super Sports.
