Jaguar Mk2 stolen from show car park
Owners of a Jaguar Mk2 are appealing for help after their pride and joy was stolen from outside a show.
Vicky Butcher and John Wright were at the Carole Nash MCN London Motorcycle Show at the ExCel in London on 18 February when the Jaguar was taken from the car park.
In a post on Facebook, John wrote: ‘My beloved Mk2 Jaguar was stolen at 2pm from the ExCel Centre in East London during the Motorcycle Live show. If you see it, please photograph it. This car is very dear to me.’
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police says: ‘Police were called at 15:57 on Saturday 18 February to reports that a car had been stolen from ExCel London. The owner of the car, a distinctive blue 1964 Jaguar Mk2, parked the vehicle in the venue’s car park at around 11:00.
‘When he returned to the car park later that afternoon the car was gone. Officers attended the scene and established that the car was driven out of the car park at 14:38. No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.’
