World War I to nearly new ( but definitely ‘classic’) – and everything else in between

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

Abumper offering from Historics at Brooklands sees everything from a 1918 Bianchi to a 2012 AC competing for punters’ cash at the Surrey museum, and the 130 or so lots (at the time of going to press) include all points in between. So, you can expect some traditional classics, including Jaguar E-types and XJ- Ss, as well as a typically large Mercedes-Benz line-up and numerous Porsches, the majority of which are 911s. From the Vintage era the 1918 Bianchi and a 1925 Daimler laundaulette offer more unusual motoring, the latter having had its original engine replaced by a Triumph 2.5-litre six. A pair of Consul Capris and a Consul Classic are welcome additions, as is a Morris Mini Cooper S with the rarely seen 970cc engine.

Two viewing days, on the Thursday and Friday before the sale, should accommodate the needs of most would-be bidders. ■ 01753 639170, www.historics.co.uk, listings p40
