OUR CARS OF THE SHOW
MURRAY SCULLION 1994 MERCEDES-BENZ S500
The show’s organisers are trying harder than ever to lure in the Youngtimer crowd. And they’re doing a good job too. This S-class appealed to the under 30s so much that it took me ages to get a clear photo of it.
JAMES SADLIER 1984 FORD GRANADA 2.8I GHIA
This big, brawny beauty certainly quenched my thirst for Fords in what was a heavily German and Italian-influenced show. This low mileage, range-topping example was in concours condition. It seems appropriate to mark the MkII’s 40th anniversary in the country where Ford’s executive bruiser was manufactured.
