Club stars short­listed

Five lead­ing lights in Bri­tain’s clas­sic car move­ment have been short­listed for the top prize at this year’s Na­tional Car Club Awards. Drum­mond Black from the Jowett Car Club, the Pan­ther Car Club’s Bruno Eis­mark, Rosie Hamil­ton of the Morris Mi­nor Own­ers’ Club, John Simp­son of Bos­ton Clas­sic Car Club and John Smith of the Volvo Own­ers’ Club have all been nom­i­nated for the Life­time Achieve­ment Award, to be an­nounced at the NEC on 1 April. The win­ner of the in­au­gu­ral award last year was Vic­tor Ri­ley of the Ri­ley Mo­tor Club.
