Club stars shortlisted
Five leading lights in Britain’s classic car movement have been shortlisted for the top prize at this year’s National Car Club Awards. Drummond Black from the Jowett Car Club, the Panther Car Club’s Bruno Eismark, Rosie Hamilton of the Morris Minor Owners’ Club, John Simpson of Boston Classic Car Club and John Smith of the Volvo Owners’ Club have all been nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award, to be announced at the NEC on 1 April. The winner of the inaugural award last year was Victor Riley of the Riley Motor Club.
Awards director Lee Masters says: ‘Each of these amazing individuals has given such time and dedication, not only to their club but to the classic car movement as a whole.’
