John Surtees riding an MV in 1960 – on his way to his final 350 and 500cc world championship.
The Ferrari 158 powered Surtees to the F1 crown in 1964. He left the team just a couple of years later.
Driven by Surtees and Gurney, the Chevrolet-powered Lola T70 won the first Can-Am Championship.
Surtees takes the European F2 title as a constructor. Mike Hailwood drove the Surtees-Ford Cosworth.
John Surtees is awarded an OBE by HM the Queen at Buckingham Palace on February 18.
