Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Living With Classics - JIM ROBSON

Jim has owned his 1992 Sierra Sapphire 2.0 Ghia for five years.

‘It started out as standard, and was converted into a track car then a drift car before being returned back to standard. However, while the engine and gearbox are original spec, it’s been lowered with Koni suspension throughout and features a full Cosworth body kit and Escort Cosworth wheels; but these items are getting rare and expensive now. I’ve also resprayed the car and fitted a four-inch exhaust, although this isn’t as noisy as you might expect; it’s more efficient than standard and almost as quiet. I’ve also fitted Polybushes throughout and while these make the car much harsher, they improve the handling enormously.’
