Offered without reserve, even the most ardent Multipla lover must have been surprised at the price paid for this project. This wasn’t a car that could be sweetened up over a long weekend, and although it was nigh-on complete, there was plenty of corrosion to sort. The interior needed some serious refreshing, and then there were the mechanicals to tackle. Nevertheless fine examples are comfortably commanding sums skywards of £20k, so perhaps the buyer, far from being rash, was demonstrating value-appreciating pragmatism.
