Mike & Edd’s finest moments

-

1903 DARRACQ

Mike and Edd marked the show’s 100th restoration by taking on a century-old Darracq, with the aim of entering it into the 2013 London to Brighton Veteran Car Run. Despite having to deal with parts that had been obsolete for decades, the duo successfully made it to Madeira Drive.

1998 MAZDA MX-5

The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show wouldn’t be the same without the duo racing against time to complete a restoration on the NEC’s live stage. You’d think that by starting with a car that ran Mike and Edd had it easy in 2015 – but their race to turn a tatty MX-5 into ‘a prize worth winning’ for a showgoer went down to the wire.

1965 LAND ROVER SERIES IIA

Even a relocation to LA for the last series couldn’t stop Mike and Edd from tinkering with British classics. Edd’s work on the chassis including removing surface rust from the chassis and sanding the paint to give it the look of a survival vehicle, helping the pair to make nearly £3k in profit from the previously tired Landie.
