1966 Wolseley Hornet
Someone was ahead of the game in 2000 when they had this Hornet restored – at the time the pint-sized luxury Wolseley and its Riley Elf sibling generated little interest beyond Mini enthusiasts, but today the booted-and-suited upmarket Minis rightfully enjoy their own following. New wings, sills and A-panels were fitted when it was restored but it wasn’t used between 2005 and 2010. Later recommissioning saw replacement of hoses and cylinders as well as timing chain and exhaust, but it has had little use since. Temptingly estimated.
