THE UK’S BIGGEST BARNFIND DISPLAY

HALL 11

Who doesn’t love a good barn find? And there will be around 25 of them this year, in what is always one of the event’s most popular draws. There’s always been great fascination in decrepitude, and among the rusty wrecks that have emerged from barns, sheds and garages to captivate with their corrosion are a 1987 Audi quattro Turbo, a 1970 Jensen FF and a 1962 MGA.

Expect to see some of them fully restored at future shows, although you may have to wait a while for the eye-catching 1959 ArmstrongSiddeley Star Sapphire found by Bim Simcoe to appear: he reckons it’ll take him 10 years to get it back to show-winning standard.
