Time for a change of name?
If the Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs’ Drive-It Day is meant to reach out beyond the boundaries of the movement to encourage ‘normal people’ to get involved, then why isn’t it called something they will understand? Drive-It Day is completely meaningless and out of context. Why not National Classic Car Day or something along those lines? Then the people who get to talk about it on the telly won’t have to explain it every time it is mentioned. Eugene Lynch, Lancaster, Lancs.
