YOUR ESSENTIAL GUIDE
With more than 1000 classics on show, Britain’s restoration gurus sharing their top tips and the nation’s biggest display of barn-find classics, you won’t want to miss this weekend’s action
When I welcome readers and friends to the Practical Classics Classic Car and Restoration Show, it’s just like saying ‘ hello’ to guests who come down to the Practical Classics workshop – only much, much bigger.
Given the response we had last year ‘more’ is what you all wanted; so in 2017 there are more cars, more clubs, more activity, more specialists and 50 per cent more days! There are also 100 per cent more live restorations on the main stage (we are attempting to finish an Austin Westminster estate and a Jensen Interceptor by the Sunday).
It’s our shared passion for restoration that has made this show such a success and the friendliness and enthusiasm of guests and exhibitors alike that makes it really special. And it makes for great theatre.
Come and say hello to the PC team in Hall Nine and make your way to the Live Stage to see Ant Anstead and Mike Brewer, the new Wheeler Dealers TV show team. It’s a real honour that they chose our show as the event to debut the new partnership.
