Four clubs were shortlisted for their work in nurturing a new generation of classic fans with their inspiring initiatives. The judges highly commended the Morris Minor Owners’ Club’s Young Members’ Register for making a 1950s British classic particularly popular with Millennials, but the overall award went to The Imp Club. Dom Smith, a 20-year-old Sunbeam Stiletto owner, was praised for ‘living and breathing classics’, and his hard work as the club’s first young persons registrar was highlighted as being exactly what the classic world needs if it is to attract younger classic car fans into the hobby.
