Triumph Dolomite Club vice-chairman Bruce says: ‘Some owners are into concours with originality key for about half of our members. Another 20-30 per cent want an improved car that looks original, then there are those into extreme upgrades. A lot of base cars end up on Sprint wheels so bigger tyres can be fitted. Sprint owners like to upgrade the cooling and brakes, and others fit seats from the Rover 45 – original replacements are hard to find.’
