Duxford, an historic airfield, was the perfect location for what proved to be a high-flying auction

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

H&H’s first trip of the year to Duxford appealed to a wide audience. Whether it was a Brighton Runeligible De Dion, a pre-war Armstrong Siddeley, a fabulous re-bodied 1960s Ferrari or even a Ford Zodiac Executive MkIV, H&H had them on the lot.

Unsurprisingly the Ferrari 330GT Nembo Spider made the highest price of the day, but there was a lot of interest in the lovely 1938 Morris 8 in beautifully original order, which was away at less than four grand.

Elsewhere, a collection of Armstrong Siddeleys, along with a trio of later Beetles, all made good, firm sums.
