Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling - MARTIN NANCEKIEVILL

Martin owns the last Ambassador ever made. ‘ The car, made in November 1983, was sold by Gaydon about 13 years ago. The buyer stored it outside where it was vandalised, so it deteriorated badly. For years he wouldn’t sell it but in 2016 a scrap merchant contacted the club to say he’d acquired the car. Some work had already been done but there was still much to do, so the club took it on as a project. I then bought it outright, finished reviving it and put it in for its first ever MoT; it had been taken off the road when just two years old. The Ambassador has now covered just 12,500 miles and I love using it as it rides superbly and is very practical.’
