Hey, we’ve found your hammer!

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - This Week -

Technicians stripping down a 1968 Aston Martin DBS have discovered a hammer buried under boot insulation foam.

Restoration project leader Sean Horsey believes that it must belong to one of the engineers who helped to build the car almost 50 years ago. He says: ‘I’ve got this image of the engineer putting it down on the insulation then forgetting it was there, and going around the factory floor asking who had his hammer.

‘It’s possible that this chap is still around. If so, we’d like to give him his hammer back.’
