Anatomy of the Classic Mini £35

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - This Week -

Over its long life in production, the original Mini saw many model changes that involved thousands of different components. Mark Huthert set out to research all those different bits and pieces over a period of years (we wonder if he ever wished he hadn’t started?), and the result is this valuable book, which helps to identify parts correctly, and aid in the identification of replacement items from the same manufacturers, with particular emphasis on engine and gearbox components.

It really is quite a work. There are more than 1800 photographs with captions explaining which model each part was originally designed for, plus the date at which each change took place. Mark and Veloce have done a great job with a publication that will help keep our classic Minis running.

Anyone who is restoring a Mini – or even thinking about it – will want a copy of this book. David Brown Author: Mark Huthert Publisher: Veloce (www.veloce.co.uk)
