BLAIRGOWRIE CLASSIC CAR TOUR, PERTHSHIRE

While there’s a lot to be said for taking part in Drive-It Day just for the fun of enjoying your classic in the company of like-minded folk, if you can help raise valuable funds for charity at the same time – that’s even better.

Blairgowrie’s Rotarians are aiming to raise more than £15,000 for Cancer Research UK and CHAS, the Scottish hospices for children with lifeshortening conditions. Indeed, they’ve already begun collecting donations by displaying a Jaguar XK120 around the town. On 23 April, 70 classics will depart from Blairgowrie Golf Club at 10am for a 120-mile tour of Perthshire.
