1937 Packard Straight 8 Touring Limousine

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

Formerly owned by the late Sir James Cayzer (whose great grandfather founded the Clan Line shipping company), Packard’s Straight 8 equalled the power and comfort of a Rolls-Royce Phantom III but without the Crewe car’s inherent V12 complexities. Sir James paid just £15,000 for it in 1987 and straightaway spent more than £2000 on new carpets, leather Connollising and window capping refreshment. Said to be in ‘outstanding’ condition, this could be a great value buy if it sells within estimate.
