1997 Jaguar XK8 fhc

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

Finding a decent firstgeneration XK8 isn’t easy, with the earliest examples now more than 20 years old. And while their improved Ford-influenced build quality ensured greater longevity, there’s no accounting for the way some owners treat their cars. This example presented extremely well, despite it having six previous owners. The bodywork was very good, with impressive panel alignment and no sign of corrosion, with just one scratch around the driver’s door handle. Inside there were few signs of wear on the driver’s seat (which normally suffer on Jaguars of this age) and door panels, and the wood had lasted well. Sensibly bought at this price.
