1948 MG TC
To many enthusiasts the MG TC is not just the MG, but the British sports car. As the model that spearheaded British sports cars sales in the post-war period, their popularity never really wane – a trait that continues today. Charterhouse’s car was imported form the USA in 2006 and subjected to a body-off restoration. Eleven years later it still looked superb, with its ‘Peter Rabbit’ blue paint, body and interior all in first-class order. The engine had been refurbished with new pistons and valves, the original gearbox replaced by a Ford Type 9 five-speeder and the steering box was a later VW replacement. A delight.
