MOTOFEST’S BID FOR BIG NUMBERS
‘ We’re looking to create a show within a show and celebrate our classic heritage’ MOTOFEST DIRECTOR, JAMES NOBLE
This year’s Coventry Motofest – to be held on 3-4 June – is set to deliver the biggest classic vehicle offering ever staged at the festival.
The initiative follows a new partnership between Motofest organisers and the Coventry Business Improvement District (BID), that will make space available for 500 cars plus 500 motorcycles and scooters each day.
Clubs and classic car enthusiasts are being urged to help fill all the display allocation – and as a finale of each day’s programme, the Coventry BID Cavalcade will see static display vehicles take to the Bennetts Spring Circuit for parade laps.
‘We are delighted to announce this new partnership with the Coventry BID, which will enable us to deliver our biggest classic vehicle offering so far at Coventry Motofest,’ says Motofest’s director James Noble.
‘With the Coventry BID Classic, we are looking to create a show within a show, which will put classic cars and bikes at the forefront of the festival and in doing so provide visitors with a genuinely awe-inspiring celebration of our classic motoring heritage.’
Cars, motorcycles and scooters over 20 years old can display free of charge and a guaranteed display place for individuals and clubs can be booked through the event’s website.
