1965 Triumph 2000

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

Think of 1960s Triumphs, and it’s easy to think only of TRs and Spitfires, but the Coventry company turned out fine saloons that combined performance and practicality with good looks. Brightwells’ ‘impeccably restored’ 1965 model is a great reminder of these family-friendly Triumphs and is the lesser seen first-phase version of the MkI. In dark blue over Wedgewood Blue with blue interior, it’s a fabulous-looking reminder of Canley’s early motorway chargers.
