‘Not unusual to make a late car look earlier’

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Living With Classics - DAMON OORLOFF KINGSLEY CARS

‘Generally these cars are not used for off-roading any more so the focus is on making them more usable on the road. Our customers want turn-key reliability, better fuel economy, more precise handling and features such as improved hi-fi, central locking, air conditioning and better security. It’s not unusual to take a late two-door car and make it look like a much earlier car; the four-door models may have better practicality but they don’t have the same charm or collectability.’ www.kingsleycars.co.uk
