1987 V8 Zagato Volante
The 1980s Aston Martin/Zagato collaboration rekindled the partnership of two decades earlier and the 1980s convertible was among the most exclusive models (with just 37 being built, of which just 12 were right-hand-drive) to carry an Aston Martin badge. This Malvern Brown example was sold new to the Patrick Collection, and was bought by the vendor in 1998 to form part of a collection based in Germany. It has covered 3680 miles from new – it underwent its final Work inspection on 24 May 1989 – and is said to be in ‘almost new’ condition, right down to the original radio and Goodyear Eagle tyres. Rare and in fine original condition, this is surely a musthave addition to any Aston Martin collection.
