THE MAN BEHIND THE MACHINES

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - This Week -

Studio434 owner, Rodger Dudding, has acquired arguably the most eclectic private collection of cars and motorcycles in the UK over the past 40 years. Where else could you see 23 Aston Martin Lagondas, handfuls of Ferraris, a Lotus prototype clay model, and even a Dalek? But Dudding can only afford his dream collection because of his business acumen – and an idea that changed his life. He says: ‘One day, I was queuing at a butchers and was handed a numbered plastic disc. It occurred to me that it wasn’t hygienic or efficient, and I knew that I could do better.’ So he did – and invented the Lonsto Queue Management System ticketing machine, used in thousands of businesses around the world.
