Supercars pose as art
An art gallery is housing seven supercars from seven different eras in a 13th century monastic barn in Wiltshire this month.
Art gallery Messums Wiltshire is hosting the exhibition and a series of talks under the name ‘Art in Motion – Knowledge and Design’ from 5-29 May. The supercars will include an Alfa Romeo 750 series SS low-nose, AC Cobra 289, Jaguar E-type, Lamborghini Miura, Ferrari 288 GTO, Ferrari Daytona, and McLaren F1.
Curator Richard Sutton founded a classic car magazine and presented Channel 4’s Deals on Wheels.
Speakers will also feature, including McLaren Automobile’s design and operations manager, Mark Roberts, and British inventor Stephen Bayley.
