The usual suspects were joined by a few surprises, such as a rare Alfa
Barons’ sale at Sandown Park saw modern cars mixing with more traditional offerings, including numerous Jaguars and Mercedes-Benz models, as well as Bentleys and Rolls-Royces. The star lot, a manual gearbox 1973 Jaguar E-type, was away at £81,400.
Barons’ next sale will be held on 13 June at Sandown Park, with a 1971 Bristol 411 and a 1938 Lagonda LG6 already consigned.
