1965 Triumph 2000
There can be few first-generation Triumph 2000s that look as good as this one. In fact, it was so good that it was the niggling little things – scratched front door tread plates and attention to detail of the paint at the base of the windscreen pillars – that stood out. Those trifles aside, this was a lovely four-door saloon with great bodywork and paint (bar those pillar bottoms), a fabulous interior (clean, smart and almost showroom-fresh) and a good engine bay. Acquired by the private collector vendor in 2003 and subsequently restored, it was just delightful and, really, an extremely good buy. Try finding another.
