1967 Aston Martin DB6 project
Pulled from a Berkshire garage not far from the sale venue, the bodywork – on the top at least – didn’t look too bad, the wings and doors being straight and reasonably tidy. The auctioneer had noted, however, that the undersides of the doors were rusty. Under the bonnet it was fair-tomiddling, and the interior was much the same. The engine turned but a strip-down of that and the automatic transmission could prevent more expense further down the line. Interesting, but not cheap to revive.
