Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Driving -

Owners Edward and Jean Smith have rebuilt a superb car. It was found in Derbyshire 26 years ago and since then the pair have left no stone unturned. It’s completely authentic, even to the extent that Edward taught himself French-polishing to ensure that the maple remains perfect. Similarly, Jean, a dressmaker by trade, has recreated the interior with such expertise that Lady Docker herself would be hardpushed to notice any differences. While it’s not a car to drive everyday, it is one that will be welcomed at every show the pair attend.

It’s a real testament to the skills of both the engineers of the early 1950s and to this amazing, selftaught pair today. We love it.
