1956 Austin A30 Countryman

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Buying & Selling -

Many enthusiasts tend to go down the well-trodden Morris Minor Traveller route when it comes to buying a compact BMC load-shifter, but there is an even more charming, much rarer and rather less obvious alternative – the Austin A30/35 Countryman. Brightwells’ A30 is a two-owner car that was restored ‘many years ago’ (Brightwells says) and is now ripe for using and improving. Compact, characterful and ripe for period modification to improve its performance, this is one eminently practical classic that’s worthy of a bid or two.
