‘ The Anglia, which I’ve owned since 2002, is al­most en­tirely orig­i­nal,’ says Geoff. ‘Aside from fresh paint, it’s needed noth­ing; even the engine is as it left the fac­tory – it’s cov­ered just 30,000 miles since it was made in 1953. I’ve fit­ted oil and air fil­ters to it while there’s a Pan­hard rod at the front to re­duce the steer­ing wob­ble, and a Ray­mond Mays anti-roll bar at the rear helps the car through the bends. when the car was new.’
