Pete Sparrow has been working on 2CVs for 30 years, restoring, modifying and upgrading them. ‘Owners are increasingly using these cars for longdistance drives,’ he says. ‘ They want to improve reliability and usability so subtle engine mods are popular. The most common upgrades are the fitment of electronic ignition, spring and damper changes, plus replacement chassis. ‘Engine capacity increases are popular too. We offer 650cc, 720cc and 760cc packages.’
