Ths year sees the third hill climb week­end held in the grounds of the Chateau Imp­ney Ho­tel in Droitwich Spa, Worces­ter­shire, but it also marks the 50th an­niver­sary since the last speed trial was held there in 1967. Sev­eral of the com­peti­tors and cars that com­peted there in pe­riod are set to re­turn, in­clud­ing the 1930 GN Caesar Spe­cial and ERA R4D. The stand­ing record for the orig­i­nal sprint course of 22.07 sec­onds was achieved by Tony Grif­fiths in his BRM P48, chas­sis 487, in 1964.
