‘Electric power steering has become popular’

Classic Car Weekly (UK) - - Living With Classics - jec.org.uk

‘As E-types have been pushed out of reach financially, people are buying Mk2s instead. They’re perfect tourers – they seat four comfortably and have a big boot. Buyers aren’t generally purists; they prefer sympathetic upgrades to make them more usable – uprated suspension, steering and brakes, plus modern transmission and interiors. Electric power steering has become enormously popular, as have brake kits and seats from later Jaguars.’
